The Monday night dinner was quite delicious, especially after a hard day on the show floor. The entertainment was fantastic. "Thank you for organizing the transportation to and from the airport, and for following up with everyone! This morning, due to past experiences, I have both e-mailed and called Mid Atlantic to make SURE I was in the right place at the right time. They have answered both, promptly and courteously, and with both arrival and departure, I've had a satisfying experience. The bag with water, hand sanitizer, and snack was greatly appreciated and added that 'little extra touch' upon arrival. I'm sure it's not easy 'herding cats'! Again, thank you!"

"The transportation this year was excellent! The shuttle was waiting for us as we arrived in Philadelphia. We loaded up and immediately were on our way to Atlantic City in a new passenger van. It was comfortable and the driver was very courteous. Our return trip to Philadelphia was again without issue. We were put on a new large bus that was exceptionally clean and arrived at the airport without incident. We were very pleased with the transportation and the professionalism that was displayed."

"The Arett 2017 Open House was a huge success for me and my colleagues. One favorite area of the show seemed to be Power Alley with a huge offering of product at the lowest prices of the year. Pottery was also a big focus at this show. Many of my customers commented on the expanded selection and great booth setups at Pacific Home, Deroma, Jackson Pottery, Southern Patio and Scheurich Pottery.

Customers also commented on the Terra Verde Home booth. Some of the highlights were the Ceramic Bird Baths, Kinetic Bird Sculptures and New Furniture Styles. We also had a lot of success with some newly introduced vendors such as Sunlight Supply, Premier Horticulture, VegePod, American Wood Fibers, and SureCan."

"Every customer I spoke with commented on how well the show was organized and the amount of new vendors on display. Food and entertainment were well received, lots of fun had by all.
Terra Verde brought their "A" game with fantastic door busters and new items. The hit of the show was the Vegepod. The two reps could barely talk by the close of the show because they had given so many presentations, but what an exciting innovating product. Other vendors receiving high praise for booth presentation and products, include Couronne for booth presentation, Flexon for an excellent product, Gardman booth presentation and products, and Homebox for a new product.

Customers were amazed at the margin opportunity offered by Zanfel Laboratories. Not many single product lines offer 60% to 70% margins for less than $40.00. Great product, as it can be display with garden chemicals as well as scented soaps.

"The greatest highlight of the show for me was the entire show itself. As a new employee of Arett Sales in the Merchandising Dept., I was able to have involvement in the office preparation of the show (working with our vendors), the setting up of the show, activity during the show, and the breakdown of the show – all of it came together so fluidly! 
Watching the entire company work together, no matter role, was amazing to see – I truly witnessed the fact that there is no "I" in Team! All in all, this show is something special, really special – and I am lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of something so magical."

"The venders were informed and passionate about their products. The dealers were excited about new items and programs. The Arett staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt everyone went out of their way to assist customers. One of our new vendors, DZI Handmade, was packed all 3 days and they ran out of catalogs, which says to me that when you have an exciting new product, the dealers will buy it. The Scotts booth offered a great selection of leader items for the dealers to use to draw customers into their store next spring. The show was a great overall success because of the staff and customers that attended. We work well together as true partners in business."

"Jeff Kane, who is the owner of Kanes Flowerworld, has not attended the Arett Open House for many years. Both Jeff and his wife Kelly had a great time. Jeff and Kelly commented about quality and breadth of selection available to them. They both thought the flow and layout of the showroom floor made it very easy navigate. With many new manufacturers and thousands of new products available at the 2017 Arett Open house, there were many opportunities for retailers to broaden their assortments.
